Brad has advised many businesses and non-profits over the years on everything from hiring practices to event planning. He excels at strategic communication, public relations, and web design; and is known for his strength in devising strategies, messaging, and innovative solutions to difficult situations.
In 2013 Brad led a highly successful campaign in support of passing the Employment Nondiscrimination Act in the United State Senate, and in 2014 Brad was named a Mary Gates Leadership scholar.
Brad’s specialties include strategic counsel, public relations, media relations, issues and crises management, branding and positioning, internal communications and special events.

Brad has held senior leadership roles in both the business and non-profit sectors. He is currently the communications director for Netroots Connect, a national non-profit that provides a pre-conference and scholarships for emerging LGBT leaders to attend Netroots Nation, an annual progressive political conference. In that role, he oversees all offline and online communications platforms, and works in collaboration with a team of three other social media and media relations leaders.
Prior to his career in Public Relations, Brad worked as a paralegal in the Memphis, TN office of The Cochran Firm and the Seattle Law Office of Patricia Rose. In his role at The Cochran Firm he managed a case load of over 250 worker's compensation cases; and in his role at the Law Office of Patricia Rose, he manages around 40 employment and discrimination cases.
Brad has a bachelor’s degree in both communications and political science from University of Washington. He is a board member of LGBTQ Allyship, a Seattle nonprofit working towards social and economic justice for the LGBT community. In addition to his other commitments, Brad also leads the Seattle chapter of MoveOn.Org.
